Day 4. 29 May 2010, Saturday, the last day in Bali!

After breakfast we headed to a Krishna handy craft center. The things selling there including packet food, souvenirs (key chains, decorations...). different kinds of printed Bali t-shirts, Batik dresses. Those were kinda cheap and the most important- fixed price, no bargain. Phew~

  the couple and Lord Krishna

Camhore!
It was a huge center, everyone was choosing and definitely buying a basket of things.

And we finished shopping!

As told by the driver, the journey from where we were to Ubud was rather far. The point was we have to try the famous Babi Guling! Because this was our last day in Bali!
Anyway, we did try out the local babi guling, but not in Ubud, and it was not famous.

 ... errr...speechless though- :l

Happy photo! After tasting the food.
well, was very appreciated the driver for driving us to find the typical local babi guling which the local people will step in and have it.
When in Rome be a roman.
When in Bali, be a balinese.
:)

Next stop-
Mengwi Temple

Just for fun (' u')v

An insight shot of the temple.

Then, Kopi Luwak! xD

Here is the background of it:
Kopi is the Indonesian word for coffee. Luwak is a local name of the Asian palm civet in Sumatra. Palm civets are primarily frugivorous, feeding on berries and pulpy fruits such as from fig trees and palms. Civets also eat small vertebrates, insects, ripe fruits and seeds.
When coffee plants are put into civet habitats, the civets forage on only the ripest and sweetest berries. Hence, farmers would often find their best coffee berries missing in the morning after civets had been feeding and they were seen as pests. Meanwhile farmers hoping to save their crop gathered the civet droppings and found these beans, which were darkened and more brittle, yielded a coffee with unusual taste and lack of bitterness.

The women was explaining the specialties of the coffee tree and how it processes.
