Runaway @ Bali

Day 2. 27 May 2010, Thursday.

We gather at 10 early morning to continue the second day journey. We used to have breakfast everyday. and the McDonald in Bali had satisfied our taste bud. lol!

Then we headed to Nusa Dua Beach for the water sports.
The prices of the water sport were kind of expensive if compare to Thailand.
Almost the same as in Malaysia.
1 water sport around RM50.00 - RM60.00. It again depends on personal interest.

We were kinda fond on having Banana Boat Ride~ hahaha! In 15minutes, they brought you to the middle of the sea by riding the floating banana, and hands up! Threw you into the sea. That's it. But was really fun for those who have not try it before, like me...

Another interesting sport was the "I believe I can fly" with the parachute.
Yeah, they really did it. :D

After having few hours of water sport in the beach, we returned to hotel for bathing.

Next was lunch at the famous Bebek Bengkil Dirty duck diner.

Few dishes I managed to capture.
The food was good. But the prices were slightly expensive.
Indeed it was secondly expensive meal after the dinner at Jimbaran Beach.
Around RM30-40 (1 Dish + Beverage). It depends on the kind of dishes you order.

.....

....
...

..

Next station. We went to a market at Ubud. It was because of rain, most of the stalls were using plastic cover to cover their goods.
Was rather hard to view all the good unless you want to buy.

It was a huge market where there were 2 stories. But most of them are selling the same things/ souvenir.
*You have to bargain and cut the price to at least 70% only you can purchase.*
I don't really like to do bargaining in all the stalls that was why I did not buy anything.
The market in Ubud was some sort of like the market in Tirupati, India.
Except the things they sell were slightly different. And most important, "you don't need to bargain" they were all fair price! :)

.....

...

..

I found something interesting though!
Almost everywhere!! Everywhere we go, as long as there is a souvenir shop, you will definitely see this!

erhem! I'm taking about the wood craving of male sex organ.

I don't know why...I regret I did not buy a key chain of this pattern!

I went out of the market, and there were few more palaces of the king (Raja) in Bali.
Very surprising lor, Palace at the road side. And we can actually enter into the garden.
*wink!*

The garden view of the one of the palaces.
Visitors are strictly not allow to enter the area beyond garden.

Still in the garden. And music were on...ding ding ding dong dong dong....

What next? Makan again laa....
This was the most happy and fantastic dinner we had in Bali!
B for Bali! B for Bambo Corner!
Hooray!

The "very Balinese" menu...
The prices were incredibly cheap compared to those meals we had!
Can you imagine?
Chicken and Chips: RP. 18,000 = RM6.70
T-bone steak(the most expensive dish I can find in the western food list! )
RP. 25,000 = RM 9.30
Less than RM10.00!!

So what do you think? noodles..? lagi murah larh tu.....
okay, can I say in this way? because we had too expensive meals for those days.
So we found it was incredibly cheap.
(Actually for local as they said this meal is for those "richies" (rich people). 'cause for them is quite expensive already).
DUH, then what about Bebek Bengkil and Jimbaran dinner? We were RAJA already...

**The food came and they were not bad though!**
Worth it worth it! thumbs up!

My Sirloin Steak
(not bad right? Make sure you go when you are in Bali, Kuta)

Yey! Bambo Corner...!

After dinner, we went for massage. 13 person in one parlor.
Was really fun! and Not that expensive too.

2 hours Whole body massage + Thai Massage + (free one treatment).
Treatment: pedicure/ manicure/ ear candle/ body scrub/ cream bath (hair) : choose one
Total: RP. 120,000 = RM 44.40

Erhem, I think guys were having more fun downstairs laa...

lol!

Ciao!
