JF's Kitchen

5 MAY 2010, Wednesday.
(This post is specially dedicated to my best friend, Stephie, who is studying in Australia and missing Malaysian food.)  :)
If you are following my blog, the first thing I want to do after exam is making vegetable curry with choo-bee-hoon. Of course, I did what I have listed. : D
I did grocery shopping right after the exam and managed to buy the ingredients needed for the dish of the day- Vegetable curry with thick vermicelli .

Easy way for preparing the dish:

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of instant vegetable curry paste
    • Vegetables that you want to add into your curry. (Carrots, cabbages, ladies fingers, long beans, and etc.)
    •  1 packet of coconut milk (200ml)
    • 2 glasses of water
    • Sambal (if you like/ for the spiciness)
    • Fried bean curd (tau-hu pok)
    •
       Procedure:
      1. Stir fry the instant vegetable curry paste in the sauce pan.
      2. Then add all the vegetables into the pan. Stir fry with the curry paste.
(as I use rice cooker for cooking the curry, so......)
      3. Pour all the vegetables from the pan and 2 glasses of water into the rice cooker.
      4. Cook it and leave it for about 30 minutes.
      5. Add salt and soy sauce.
      6. Pour coconut milk when it boil.
      7. Add sambal( if you like.)
      8. Cook until the vegetables become tender.

And your vegetables curry is ready to serve!
