I Love Puppets

Yow! Here another entry about puppet making! We did paper bag puppet during Art and Craft session. I found it is very interesting when making your own puppet.
Especially when you do it with all the "junks"- Recycled materials

Don't believe junks can make real good stuff? Here, let me show you.

This is my favourite!
He is my Devil Kida. I made it by 1 paper bag, red packets (angpaus), Domino pizza's pamphlet and Coco Crunch card.

This is Devil Kida's pet frog. It is Silly Willy Woony!
It made by 1 paper bag, sequins, buttons, colour papers and water colour.

The Devil Kida is not treating it well as a pet frog.

Kida dumped it into the well.

It rescued by pet frog Jamby.

Hey, here it is. This is pet frog Jamby
It made by 1 paper bag and 1 junk food packet.

It is Princess Malenie's pet frog.  Jamby is staying with the princess.

Princess treating it very well.

Finally, this is Princess Malenie. It made by 1 paper bag, colour paper and pink plastic bag.

She is a kind princess. Later on, she stay happily with 2 pets. Woony and Jamby.

Hi there! This is our puppet family.
They are living in a village called Pettitu in far far far away.

For parents and teachers:
Having children to make /have their own puppet helps them to develop social skill in their early years.  They play with the puppet as they talk and act with it.
Besides, they feel a sense of satisfaction when complete their own puppet. They will like playing with their puppet with their peers. They are able to create their own storyline which is meaningful for the play. For more, they are able to socialize well with others. So, if your children still are shy/ do not feel like speak to others, maybe you can use puppet as a tool to reinforce in the social development.

Thanks for reading!

Ciao!
